Diversity’s In-Home Support Services bring professional care directly to you, allowing individuals to receive assistance while remaining in their own home or family home. This flexible approach provides the right level of support while maximizing independence and comfort. 

Who We Serve

Our In-Home Services are Designed for Individuals with: 

  • Have Family & Individual Support (FIS) or Community Living (CL) Waivers 
  • Live with family, friends, or in their own homes 
  • Require functional, behavioral, or medical supports 
  • Need assistance while maintaining their current living situation

We offer Skilled Caregivers who receive specialized training in supporting individuals with ID/DD, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to provide compassionate and effective care. 

We are committed to empowering individuals with ID/DD to lead fulfilling, independent lives through tailored in-home support services.  

Diversity’s Inhome Program offers the below: 

  • Skill-Building Focus: We emphasize skill-building in areas such as behavior and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote self-sufficiency and confidence in the individuals we serve. 
  • Ongoing Caregiver Education: Our caregivers receive continuous training on best practices and the latest advancements in ID/DD care, ensuring they remain at the forefront of the industry. 
  • Transparent Communication: We maintain open lines of communication with families and other care providers, encouraging collaboration and coordination in support of each individual’s needs. 
  • Compliance with State Regulations: We adhere to the regulations set forth by the Virginia Administrative Code and the KanCare program, ensuring our services align with state requirements and guidelines.

We provide services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, and varying levels of support needs from mild to severe. 

Yes, our services are primarily provided through Virginia Medicaid Waivers, including Community Living (CL), Family & Individual Support (FIS), and Building Independence (BI) Waivers. https://mylifemycommunityvirginia.org/dd-waiver-info

We serve the entire central Virginia area, including Chesterfield, Henrico, Colonial Heights, Petersburg, Henrico, and other cities including Richmond. 

Can I receive multiple services from Diversity? 

Yes, many individuals receive a combination of our services based on their waiver and individual needs. For example, a person might participate in Group Day Support while also receiving In-Home Support.
