Program Supervisor

Leverage your skills with Diversity to make an impact in people’s lives. We are seeking an energetic and passionate human services professional to serve as a Supervisor in one of our programs.
We are looking for a passionate leader who can successfully assist in directing program staff to provide high quality services to individuals we support. In this role you will help manage the day-to-day operations with the support of the Operations Director.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field or 5 years of experience in a human services delivery system including experience providing direction, development and implementation, direct supervision and monitoring (observation and evaluation of staff implementing care, service plans and interacting with clients) to the service provided.
– Must have a passion for and desire to work with people with intellectual disabilities and other physical or mental illness. At least 3 years’ experience providing support to persons with developmental disabilities
-Demonstrated leadership ability
-Ability to effectively establish and maintain meaningful relationships
-Ability to coordinate activities and services to meet the on-going needs of individuals served
-Strong follow through to ensure quality services, regulations and residents rights are upheld
-High energy, goal-oriented, and an ability to inspire people
-Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
– Must pass background investigation and central registry check.

Direct Support Professional
Essential Job Overview
The Day Support Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides supervision, training, and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a day support setting. This role focuses on promoting independence, community engagement, social interaction, and personal growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals served.
Responsibilities
Direct Support: encouraging personal skill development in all areas of life by showing, teaching and talking.
- Assist individuals with daily living, social, and communication skills
- Support participation in community outings and recreational activities
- Encourage independence and goal achievement
- Monitor and document individual progress and behaviors
- Provide behavioral support as needed
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment
- Assist with meals, hygiene reminders, and medication administration if trained
- Maintain professional communication with staff, families, and supervisors
- Follow all company policies, state regulations, and care plans
Minimum Job Qualification
Bachelors degree is preferred. Must have a passion for working with individuals with a developmental disability. Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges or mental illness is preferred. Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance. Must pass background investigation and central registry check.

The Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a residential or group home setting. The DSP supports individuals in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and independent home environment while assisting with daily needs and routines.
Responsibilities
Direct Support: encouraging personal skill development in all areas of life by showing, teaching and talking.
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as trained and authorized
- Prepare meals and assist with household duties
- Support individuals with daily routines and skill development
- Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Monitor health, safety, and behaviors of individuals served
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the home
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and behavioral situations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations
Minimum Job Qualification

- Follow individualized care plans and goals
- Maintain a safe and respectful home environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care teams
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and regulations

We are looking for individuals with a degree in psychology, education, social work, occupational/recreational therapy, nursing, or other human services preferred for most positions. Previous experience working in the field is not required. We can teach the skills but you have to have the passion.
